This Avocado Chocolate Cake Recipe is so soft and moist, full of healthy fats and nutrients.
Method
Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 180 ° and lightly grease a loaf tin with baking parchment paper.
Step 2
In a food mixer, add the avocados, eggs and butter. Mix until a smooth consistency.
Step 3
Sieve the flour and cocao powder into a large mixing bowl. Add the almond flour, baking powder and Golden Lo Han Guo | 25% Mogroside V. Mix all of the dry ingredients in together.
Step 4
Next, gradually add the avocado mixture into the dry ingredients making sure to combine the ingredients together well. Add 2-3 tbsp of milk to loosen the mixture slightly.
Step 5
Spoon the mixture into the prepared tin and spread mixture evenly. Pop into the oven and cook for about 30-35 minutes. To check that the chocolate avocado loaf is cooked all the way through put a fine skewer through the centre. If it comes out clean then it will be cooked.
Step 6
Leave to cool for a few minutes before using a palette knife to gently loosen the loaf out of the tin. Remove the baking paper and pop onto a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, cut into slices and serve.
