The ‘Longevity’ Fruit
Why choose Monk Fruit?
Monk Fruit (aka Lou Han Guo) won’t raise blood glucose levels so is perfect for people who are diabetic or pre-diabetic*. The extract contains Zero carbohydrates so if you are looking to lower your carb intake or are following a Keto style diet then this natural sweetener is a perfect option. Another great benefit to Monk Fruit is that it has not yet been shown to contain any associated adverse effects, whereas many other sugar alternatives have been shown to produce gastrointestinal distress, bloating and many other uncomfortable symptoms.
Monk Fruit Origins
Monk Fruit (also known as Luo Han Guo) is cultivated within the mountains of Guangxi, Southern China, in which it is then processed into a fine powder to use as a natural sugar alternative. Monk Fruit extract has been used for centuries by Buddhist Monks and is know as the ‘longevity fruit’.

**** 10 month update ******
Finally ran out. Ended up only using in a couple of recipes (bought the golden for recipes).
**** 8 month update ****
Still using same package and plenty left. Use a scoop in my tea daily PLUS have used it in several recipes.
The packaging isn’t so great on this, so I put in a wide mouth 8oz Mason jar and the scoop stays out of monk fruit so I’m not always putting my fingers in it.
***** update ******
Here it is 6 months later and if I only use it in my morning tea, this will last me a year.
I’m going to start using it in recipes. The conversion rate is 1 tiny scoop equals 1 teaspoon of sugar.
Like others have mentioned, when I 1st received this I was a little bit disappointed in the amount. Love that they include a spoon. This will last a long time.
I have used other pure monk fruit products and as long as you don’t put in too much, there is no aftertaste. I will be purchasing more of this brand.

Awesome product ! great flavour , pure and natural.. At first I thought to myself , I paid how much for this! Then when u realize how little of it u need to get the sweetness it is like WOW! this is going to last me a year. I find it has a nicer flavour on its own then when cut with other sweetners. Its kind of cool that the measuring spoon is the size of a tooth pick , that screams potent ! Being a diabetic I can’t have sugar so to find a sweeter thats all natural without the bitter aftertaste like stevia is a game changer for me. The service was exceptional to, 2 days at my door step through Purolator ( best courier by far ) Two thumbs up don’t hesitate to buy this u won’t regret it .

I use this package since last year for my coffee and other drinks. Small package but I still have lots. This is the only product so far which doesn’t have some bad side or after taste. Also, I didn’t noticed any reaction to it.

I know this is a little expensive, but it’s also pretty powerful, so a little goes a long way. I use it in my tea all the time, and the only tiny issue I had was that it takes a little longer to dissolve than most other sweeteners. It’s more of a powder, and tends to stick together, but in the end, it’s worth it. I still give it 5 stars. If you’ve been Keto for awhile, then you will be happy with the flavor. Great to have a pure (not mixed with erythritol) product. Thanks for that!

I liked this one a lot. I eat monk fruit naturally as a fruit, and this sugar form is a good alternative to add for sweetness without strange after tastes. Also great considering there is nothing else added. I had to play around with the amount to use according to my taste, but that’s expected. Everything else is great about it.

A truly perfect monk fruit product. I have purchased multiple times already and am content every single time.

I go through grams of the product everyday, really amazing sweetner, love we have a source within the UK, ordering it from the USA was such a hassle.
I litrually can’t get through 4lt’s of liquid a day without it, has became a bit part of my diet.
Tastes so amazing, batches change so sometimes you get a higher volume which is less sweet (still the same mass) and other time a far sweeter product with lower volume (same mass)
Just encase anyone ever gets confused and think they have recieved double or half of what they usually get.

Yes so delighted to see it for sale in UK finally. I m using it for all the soft fruits my husband grows which often need quite a bit of sweetening up

Finally! Have been searching everywhere for this. Bought it a few months ago and already used it in some recipes. Only downside and reason for one less star is that it said it would come with a scoop but it did not so I have no clue how much to add in…

Truly, wonderful stuff. No nasty aftertaste. No spike in my blood sugar after I use, it doesn’t disappear when I cook with it. The quantity is very small for the money, but when you realise how little you need for a lot of sweetness, it works out really good value. There are many other monk fruit products on the market, but that almost always cut with a red throttle which is much cheaper, but for many of us causes abdominal bloating and upset. This is the business. Highly recommended.

My review above: typo. Erythritol not red throttle. 😮

Bought early in November 2025 and it’s time to buy a new one, although I have another two more weeks to go with what’s left. I used in my coffee and tea, roughly 2 scoops a day. Some days I use less than a scoop.
Initially the sweetness was too much. I couldn’t drink my coffee peacefully for a week. But after a week I started enjoying the taste and haven’t looked back. I am diagnosed as prediabetic and wanted natural sweetener without erythritol in it and i stopped here. What an amazing product. Stevia (100% pure) has caused me heart palpitations but this product gave me zero side effects. I am also doing great with my sugar levels due to this product and stopped sugar completely for now and this product is helping me tremendously.
With the next purchase I want to make desserts (healthy ones) and bring some joy to my mind and soul.
I will be sticking with this brand and will not look elsewhere.
